Badia 
Vineyards

With an estension of 6 hectares in Chiuduno (Bergamo), Badia Vineyard is planted to Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes that result in the Valcalepio Rosso, characterized by flavors of berries, excelent acid structure and fine-grained tannin. Badia is also home of Chardonnay, Pino Bianco, Pinot Grigio grapes resulting in the Valcalepio Bianco and Spumante wines.

The soil:

The soil is at 280 meters above sea level, on plot of calcareous clay, medium deep with good structure component and well-drained, flat valley floor. This soil guarantees an ideal enviroment for a good ripening , enhancing the wine structure and color.
